/ 01 — About
01

Build every day.

One project a day. It goes online the same day, finished or not.

02

Start with what you own.

A laptop and a webcam is enough to build real things. You don't need a lab.

03

If it runs, it counts.

Some v1.5 projects barely worked. They shipped anyway.

04

Read other people's code.

Most of what you'll learn is already in repos online. Go read them.

Some comments
from previous participants.

“Before Buildcored, I was a Python newbie — I only knew for and while from class. By the end I’d learned a lot about Python, Ollama, and vibe-coding.”

v1.5 builder · Tashkent

“30 days. 30 AI projects. One per day. No breaks. Music that plays when you look down. A drawing canvas controlled by hand gestures. A voice transcription tool running fully local. A RAG agent that reads a PDF and answers your questions. None of these are perfect. Some barely worked. This was day 1 of something longer.”

v1.5 builder · via LinkedIn

“I saw the announcement scrolling through Telegram. When I read the curriculum, I swear I didn’t know any word there. But I’m curious — so I joined. The hardest day was setting up the environment: I use my neighbour’s wifi, so I sat outside in the corner of the house for hours installing everything. Worth it.”

/ 08 — FAQ

Questions.
Short answers.

What is Buildcored?

A builder community started in Tashkent. People pick projects, build them, and put the code online. Most of the community lives on Telegram.

What is Orcas?

Our building program. v1.5 was 30 projects in 30 days, all software, shipped by 10 builders. v2.0 is the next one: in person, with real hardware, August 15–24 in Tashkent.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The community is free and so are the programs.

How do I join?

The Telegram is open to everyone: t.me/buildcored. For Orcas v2.0, apply here by June 20.

Are the projects real?

Yes. All 30 v1.5 projects are at buildcored.com/projects, each with the builder's name and a link to its GitHub repo. You can read every line of code.

What's the certificate?

Builders who finish a cohort get a certificate with a code on it. Anyone can check that a code is genuine at buildcored.com/verify.

Who runs Buildcored?

Husan Mavlonov runs it, with help from the community and partners. Day to day that means he sets the programs, partners supply hardware and rooms, and builders run the channels.
